Moomoo Promo Code for 2026
If you have been thinking about opening a new brokerage account, you may want to look at moomoo. The
broker-dealer has several promotions right now. Here are the details on two of them:
Moomoo Bonus for New Customers
Open a new account and earn 8.1% APY on uninvested cash for three months. The normal yield is
3.35%, which is already competitive. In addition to the strong interest rate, new clients are
eligible for up to fifteen free stocks.
There is some fine print on this deal. First, only the first $20,000 in idle cash is
eligible for the higher interest rate. Second, customers must be new to moomoo.
To actually earn the interest, some amount must be deposited. And for the
special APY to apply, the new customer must activate a Booster Coupon, which appears in the moomoo app.
To earn 5 free stocks, moomoo requires a deposit of $100. For 60 stocks, there is a $1,000 requirement.
The deadline for being a new customer (May 29) noted above for the APY boost applies here as well. Each stock awarded will be worth between $2 and $2,000. To keep these stocks, moomoo requires a $100 or $1,000 account balance for 60 days (depending on how many stocks are given).
As with the special interest rate, the new customer must go into the app and tap a button to actually get the free stocks. In this case, the button is the Draw button.
For either offer, only a cash deposit is eligible. Securities moved in through an ACAT transfer do not count toward minimum funding levels to earn free stocks.
This offer of free stocks and a higher APY ends on October 31, 2026.
Refer a Friend
Moomoo is also running a referral offer to bring in more customers. After opening your new account and getting the higher interest rate and free stocks, you can refer other traders to moomoo and earn extra cash. This offer ends on the same date as the first one.
This promotion is simple: refer friends to moomoo and get $100 in buying power for each new account funded with $100 or more. As with the first offer, this one also has some rules to keep in mind.
First, the new customer must sign up using a special link. This link can be copied from the mobile app.
Second, the new account must be funded with a cash deposit or an ACAT transfer (yes, moomoo accepts ACAT transfers for this offer).
Third, the bonus is limited to five new accounts for a total of $500 (you can still invite more people using the link).
Fourth, the $100 is paid in two deposits of $50 each. These rewards are buying power that can be used to purchase securities in the moomoo app. They cannot be withdrawn and have no value outside of moomoo.
Getting the Referral Link and Claiming the Bonuses
To receive any bonus, you must open the app and find the list of offers your account can claim. If you skip this step, you will not receive anything, so it is important.
To find the list of rewards, log into the app and tap the Me icon on the right side of the bottom menu. On the Me page, tap the Coupons button. If you do not see the needed links there, tap the Promotions link on the Me page instead. On the next screen, tap the My Rewards button in the upper right. This section shows the rewards you can claim.
To get the referral link for the second promotion, go back to the Me page in the app. Look for the option to invite friends and tap it to see the details. Use the button to copy the link, or tap the orange Refer Now button to send your referral link by text message.
Eligibility to Open an Account
To open a moomoo account with or without a promotion, applicants must live in the United States. The minimum age is 18, and the brokerage firm only accepts Social Security Numbers. No other tax ID numbers are accepted.
