Dividends at Robinhood
Robinhood handles dividends automatically. Cash dividends are added to your account as cash by default, but they are not
automatically reinvested in the stock.
How Does Robinhood Work?
Robinhood Financial is a mobile app for both iPhone and Android devices that lets
users trade on major stock exchanges and markets directly from their phones.
Robinhood is known for having no commissions, fees, or required subscription charges.
Creating a Robinhood Financial account is quick after installing the app. Bank verification may take
some time, similar to other apps that connect to your bank account. Users also must provide
background details and tax information to open an account, which is required at all brokerage firms.
Once the account is ready, users can start trading right away with no trading fees or
commissions.
Robinhood also offers extra buying power through its premium product, Robinhood Gold, which allows
margin borrowing.
The Robinhood interface is designed to be simple and easy to use. After opening the app, users
see key performance numbers for their investments, real-time prices, and short
news updates. Selecting a specific security opens charts showing performance
over different time periods, along with the user’s own returns and related news for that
security.
